Mine was the same.
Further down the list is my post about same prob. It seems to be settling in better now, but still plays odd. I did find that if you tuned around a c major chord, that averaged out the variance. I also put lighter strings than those shipped.
I'm going to get mine looked at properly, coz i love it when the tunings sweet.
