I have not tried changing the capacitors or anything internal but I have been able to get a clean tone at full volume. I used a 10 band eq to clean up the sound as well as enhance the distortion for better sustain. So by using two eq's you could have both clean and better distortion at your feet. If someone really wanted clean tone without using an eq it would be possible by changing the volume pot, caps, and speaker. If I hear more desire for this I will make it happen and post it here.
