Yikes! Hey all sorry to have almost started an uproar. As previously stated the 7-100 is great for what it is, but based on what it is it has some limitations. That's all my message was. Dan, I do tend towards sarcasm and I apolgize for rubbing you the wrong way. I'm with Steve, we're all here cause we "dig the pig" and you have some cool sounding gear. I had an SG for a while and still regret selling it. I been playing for about 22 years now (so I'm not quite fresh from the shell *LMAO*) got a stock 74 Strat and an 89 HM Strat that's fun for "blazing" on. Amps include a Fender Twin, Princeton Reverb, Sovtek Mig50 head and 4X12 cab, the 7-100, and a couple of smokey deluxe amps (one cig pack and one poly) that are neat for carring in the guitar case or glove compartment. Dan DON'T buy the Smokey amp, they distort at like 2 on the Strats volume, even with the tone controls neutral.
Keep Jammin guys
