I was having probs with my G60VR and I went through a few techs and they said"do the dumb stuff first",I was lucky it was just tube replacement,but it the process I talked to the Pignose man in Arizona,he said the prob with the few 40's is,one run of them had a 1amp fuse in place of the 10amp that is supposed to be in there(watts or amp's I can't remember,open her up and look for the burned out fuse) the dude putting them together had a box it said 10amp so he started the assembly.As I said before I think amp but just read the burned fuse,you'll figure it out.No matter what ANYONE says these tube amps rock it hard!
