Trevor, I would like to know the answer to that myself. I have read messages on this board and searched the internet. No one seems able to provide the schematics on this amp. This amp is so simple that a good amp tech should be able to figure it out and change it over and it should not cost an arm and leg to do it. That is my next step. It would definitly be better to have it clean. If I want distortion I will use one of my pedals. I am sure that you and I are not the only ones that need clean. Pignose should offer two versions. This is a great little practice amp but extremly limited. Cleaning it up would open a lot of possibilities for the musician and more sales for the Pignose company.
