I just got one too off HC,it took some mods to fix it,the tuners are of good enough quality,first,intonation will probably be out,then the BIG frets,if you're using 9's I'd go to 10's for the string squeeze thang.Here's what I did to remedy my prob,leveled frets(lowered),recrowned,set intonation,filed nut notches for less squeeze at first frets,moved to 10's and it still is hard to tune on occasion,and for fun I cut away the square horn so now it looks like a mini Washburn EVO "Grab that 22nd fret with your second finger!".The tuners are good enough.
