a/c adaptor for pignose amp

What kind of adaptor can I use on my Original Pignose
I've tried several different kinds even got one of the best from
best from Radio Shack and they all buzz real bad. Does
anyone know what the wattage I need? Or where I can get
one that works? Larry :-)
