I purchased my pignose back in the late 70's or early 80's. I really do not remember the year. My job used to take me on the road quite a bit. The pignose was a great amp to take on the road and use for practice with my Fender Strat. Then I started playing harp.
I thought I would try using my Pignose as an amplifier for my harmonica. I plugged in an old cheap high impedance mic (a Primo) and turned on my Pignose and cranked it up to about 3/4 of it's volume. WOW!!!! I could not believe how great my harp sounded. The guys in the band insisted that I
play my harp through the Pignose all the time. So I would set it up on stage, put a SM58 in front of the Pignose speaker and feed that sound into our PA. The Pignose really inspired me when I played harp.

Now my son ( who is 15 ) is using it to play his bass through it. (Lo-o-ow volume)

Great product!! I think it is time for some more Pignose amps in my life.
